It was distributed on [[Solid State Software Command Module|Solid State Software<sup>TM</sup> Command Module]] and required a floppy disk controller with two drives as it recorded accounting information on [[Floppy Disk|floppy disks]]. [[Tronics|Tronics Inc.]] later re-released Accounting assistant during the [[:Category:1983 Software|second quarter of 1983]] with part#: HSM 1414.
It was aimed at schools only and helped created district level reports and assist administrators in the budgeting process. It records purchase orders and furnishes vendor lists and checks registers. The program came with 5 blank disks to help store information.
