'''Mini-Mag 99''' was a short-lived, black-and-white publication dedicated to treating both TI-99/4A hardware and software. It was published by S.O.S. Publishers and edited by Leslyn Tepper. Unlike other magazines dedicated to TI-99/4A information, Mini-Mag 99 was a smaller format printed on 5 & 1/2 by 8 & 1/2 inches vs. 8 & 1/2 by 11 inches for publications such as [[Micropendium]] and 99'er Magazine. From what I've been able to discover, although meant to be published monthly, only three issues of Mini-Mag 99 were ever published: March 1985, April 1985, and May 1985. All three are available for download near the bottom of this page.
Although the magazine didn't publish many issues, those available contain great information and hope for the future of the TI-99/4A, even though it began publication after Texas Instruments had already announced its plans to discontinue support for the computer. Being printed in a smaller format, each issue contains approximately half the information of publications printed on larger page formats. The smaller format lent itself well to reading, however, being easier to hold. It's Its dimensions matched much closer to the dimensions of most software manuals for the computer at the time.
