===Playing the Game===
Meteor Belt is a game for one or two players. The object of the game is to accumulate the most points by destroying your enemy's outpost and ships and blasting away meteors and satellites. You and your opponent begin the game with a ship located behind barriers and shields. A meteor belt stands between the two ships and their protective shields. You must battle your opponent (another player or the computer) to blast through the meteor belt and destroy the enemy's ship before the enemy destroys yours!

You and your opponent start the game with a fleet of 8 ships. You each play with one ship at a time that moves horizontally across the screen. Read the instructions below for the system you are using.
